Pre-Passover booming

We've got rain, wind, lightning, and thunder here in the Seattle area in these last hours before sun sets and Passover begins. I was going to dress up for seder this evening, but I'm going to be more conservative and a little less formal in the interests of staying warm and dry.

I've written about Passover before, and I'm not sure I have it in me to be more eloquent about it today than I was in that linked post. That being the case, all I say this year is:
