Did anyone else feel the shaking? 5:24 AM--I have a couple of necklaces dangling from my bedroom mirror that started to knock against the mirror frame and I felt the bed shaking (that's why I'm awake). I've checked the earthquake tracking site but haven't seen a report yet.

ETA: Found it! The quake was near Mount Constitution in the San Juans. See the instrumental shaking record here.

ETA 2: Here's more. Mag 4.6 at a depth of 35 kilometers.

Didn't feel a thing. At about 5:25, I was rushing about the house looking for pants.

No, you weren't. I was still in the shower. I don't think it went through the lake - Phoebe-cat certainly didn't seem to notice anything either.

Although closer to it, in Lynnwood, I felt nothing. I think I was in the shower at the time.

Just in time for this weekend's filk convention in Seattle. Wonder if that means anything.

I'm always happy when the earth moves for somebody. It's when it moves for lots and lots of people, simultaneously and unexpectedly, that I start to get concerned!

Glad you're OK.

This was just a little tremble, like a big truck rolling by the house. It wouldn't have been dangerous even right on top of the epicenter. But thanks for the thought.

A 4.6? Oh please.

Slept right through it.

Heh. It woke me mainly because it rattled some jewelry hanging on my bedroom mirror. It felt like the bed had a vibration device in it. It was actually kind of soothing. The cats, of course, didn't budge.

Didn't feel a thing in NB - sitting at my desk at the time.

Felt a bit, but thought it was Eric rolling over, really.

Feina decided that she needed to wake us up around 3am, and wouldn't really let us get back to real sleep until the alarm went off at 5:45 - she was walking back and forth, head-butting our hands and talking to us. She appears to be really freaked by these things, because she does this every time we have even a little one. Ramses, on the other hand, doesn't give a damn. :)

Oh, my kitties didn't budge. They moved only when I did.

Me: "I think that's an earthquake."
Evon: "You wanna get up?"
Me: "Nah."

Yes.

Wasn't happy about it. Woke up at 5 to make sure M was on her feet and headed towards work and then tried to go back to sleep since I'd been up working on stuff until 1.

Then: Heater Noise, start to drift off, M comes upstairs for something, start to drift off, coffee grinder, start to drift off, blender, start to drift off, more heater noise, start to drift off, earthquake, WTF???, sleep.
