Speaking of those who do what they love...

My page-a-day calendar this year is called "A Little Joy, A Little Oy," predictably about Jewish subjects. Today's calendar page is titled "From Our Roots: Behold These Dreamers," and lists famous or prominent Jews, among them some surprises. Names include: Marcel Proust (who knew?), Max Factor, and Marcel Marceau (I pantomime surprise!).
And once again, I'm forced to ask: is it a sign?
I hate it when I get to this place, where everything in my environment seems relevant to my current personal crisis. Makes me feel like a weepy 15-year-old listening to the radio and thinking every broken-hearted love song is about her.

If you weren't in the place you're in, you wouldn't have "heard" that quote in the way you did. I'll wager that calendar has had other, similar style quotes (earlier in the year or last year) that you read and didn't "hear" in quite the same way.
Maybe you're just ready to hear them now...

The current personal crisis? See my previous post. It's the old "I'm not doing what I love and it sucks" complaint. I appreciate the offer, however.
