DO, whom I met at the ANA show, asked me if I'd post pictures of my collection of Jewish-themed elongated coins. They're relatively hard to find and I always snatch them up when I find them. Anyway, no point in only one person seeing them, so I thought I'd post a link to the photo-set so that anyone interested might get to see them, too.

PS- Hamner wants to know if you have the complete set of pressings from the Star Trek Experience and if she should get you some in her last trip there before The End.

I try not to think too hard about my pressed-penny collection -- it's one of those things that I indulge when on trips and such, but try to minimize at home, because otherwise I think I would be completely obsessed. But I must admit, you're a bit of a bad influence. ;) Every time you post about them, I want to go get mine out and look them over.

Further, I joined the penny-collector website, and discovered that a local restaurant I've been curious about has a penny press! So I'm, uh, considering dragging the spouse over there... partly for pancakes, but mostly for pennies.

I'd be willing to send you the 2 pennies for your collection if you don't have them. The quarter is one I bought on ebay a few years ago and I'm not willing to part with that. The scan didn't turn out very well because I didn't want to take it out of the holder. The picture is Nebuchanezzar with a crown on his head riding on the back of a lion. One side has Nebuchanezzar spelled out in regular letters and the other side has what I assume are Hebrew letters (if they're not I'd be interested in knowing what they are).
