The mail today

The mail today brought two packages that I'm assuming are birthday gifts. They will not be opened until the morning of. Watch my self-discipline!

The mail also brought some smashed pennies I ordered from a private roller. I'll open that envelope shortly.

The mail also brought the current Nebula Awards report which lists me, for the first time in all the years I've been in this business, as a full member of SFWA. It also brought another pleasant little surprise, only part of which I was aware of. Yay-go-me. Thus endeth any expression of excitement I may have over the little surprise in the NAR because I know how these things go. But I'm delighted anyway.

Tonight, it's leftovers for dinner, and some writing. Past time on the writing. Way past time.

Hee! Thank you! Today's gifts included only one from someone else: a Minnie Mouse watch. The other package was something I ordered for myself that I had completely forgotten about.
