Friday night on the balcony

I'm sitting on the balcony enjoying the cool of the evening and the smell of the pit fire in the backyard of a house two doors over. Lovely scent.

I've had a wonderful week of guests and two nights of movies. Me tired. Tomorrow, chorus board retreat. Tomorrow night, another SIFF film.

I love all the stuff I'm doing but . . . wow, a quiet afternoon to myself would be nice, too.

Just sayin'.
