My Dave Barry best-of Page-a-day calendar has this today, in context with celebrating the Passover Seder with his Jewish wife:
"So I participate in the Seder; in fact, at our house I always make the traditional matzoh balls, using an ancient Presbyterian recipe. (The matzoh balls symbolized the Old Testament story about how the Israelites, after following Moses all over the desert, finally came to a place where there was chicken soup.)"
Thought I'd welcome the mutual-friending with a nice joke. :)
