I think that both Merlin and I are allergic to the daffodils I bought myself yesterday morning. They're gorgeous but I'm definitely reacting to them. And Merlin, the poor little guy (that's him in the icon), started sneezing yesterday--the only change is the flowers--and he's sneezing so hard he actually sneezed himself off the edge of the couch just now. Poor kitty. Guess the flowers will be leaving the house prematurely.

Oh, woe and misery! What a sad fate, to be allergic to daffodils. :(

Having intense sneezing fits without any idea why, as Merlin suffers, would be worse, though.

I don't think I've ever been sensitive to daffodils before. They really are my favorite flowers so the idea that I probably shouldn't have them in the house just makes me sad.

Perhaps you should conduct experiments to make sure that it's the daffodils.

Or maybe these are weird winter daffodils.
