My Valentine's Day challenge story is finished. Frankly, I think it probably reads more like a bad romance novel than anything else, but it's done. It's a couple-hundred words longer than the maximum, but I don't think my feet will be held to the fire for it. I haven't looked at it since I printed it out this morning and stuck it in my bag. It's done. 'Nuff said.

It's incredibly sunny here today. The sky is crisp and clear. And it's really cold outside.

Given that I have workshop tonight and that my chauffeur wants me to rendezvous at his place by 9 AM tomorrow morning, I suspect I'm going to be packing until at least midnight tonight. Oy. And it looks as though I'll be packing my workout clothes with me, 'cuz I don't know when I'm to go to the gym. Except maybe tomorrow morning before I hit the road. Maybe. Oy.

In other news, over at NASA, it ain't NewSpeak unless you call it NewSpeak.... ::sigh::

Back to work...

Hey -- Bad Romance Novels are an Artform (or so I'm told) -- so go for it!

Have a great weekend!

Hey, watch that cold; we're talking wind chill in the freakin' single digits. It will be below freezing as it is tonight...and likely tomorrow morning. Not something to take lightly imao.

Charles Elachi, the director of the laboratory, said he and Dr. Baltimore had conferred about the complaints and determined that while such activities had occurred, there was no evidence they were still going on.

Well, that's good news at least. If it's true.

Hey, watch that cold

Promise. I'll even bring my fuzzy slippers. ::grin::

Well, that's good news at least. If it's true.

That's the key, isn't it?

I think it probably is true. Historically the Bushies perform arrogant and outrageous (maybe that's hyberbole but what comes between "questionable" and "outrageous?"), are eventually caught and then cease those particular activities. Generally, anyway and they never seem to run out of stupid and/or sinister stunts to pull.

(I am SO stoked that a judge has ordered the domestic spying documents to be released. heh heh heh.)
