And every day the marmot says hello...

Tonight, after workshop and after I dropped
the_monkey_king back at his place, I turned on NPR for company on the drive home. First, I hear someone addressed as "Rabbi" quoting Neitzche, and within seconds I realize that the conversation is part of an episode of Open Source about the philosophical implications of the movie "Groundhog Day." It ended up being an absolutely terrific hour of radio, though Danny Rubin, the screen writer, seemed to be half a step behind the rest of the conversation somehow. Anyway, it just gave me such joy to hear this movie examined so thoroughly from a philosophical perspective. Listen to the show and, while you're there, read the write-up and blog discussion, too. Great stuff!
I talk about radio quite a bit, don't I? I need a radio icon of some kind.
