Final Pre-trip Post

So, let's see: how'd I do today?

—Go to the gym
—Clean out sink
—Clean out litter box
—Revise and mail out new story
—Hit the dry cleaner to pick up comforter and jacket
—Do pre-trip laundry
—Hit the office to drop off my work computer
—Buy a new pair of jeans and maybe shorts for trip
—Hit the grocery store for cat food and kitty litter
—Print out instructions for cat sitter
—Pack

All that's left, according to this list, posted earlier, is for me to print out the instructions for the cat sitter, to mail out the new story and go to the gym. Well, we know the truth of the second and third at this point. In truth, I still have to put the clean sheets on the bed and to shower. I had ambitions of cleaning off the kitchen table: HA! No such luck. But after I leave the cat sitter instructions, etc., I can confidently shut the suitcase and sleep until 3ish, shortly before the airport van is scheduled to pick me up.

Another weeklong adventure, this time in Colorado Springs. Somehow I doubt it will be as life-changing as the last weeklong adventure was. Still, I'm going to a city I've never visited before, indulging in a hobby that I've never studied this intensely before and I'll be walking into a fairly unfamiliar environment. Should be fun!

Since I have no idea whether or not I'll have connectivity while I'm away, this will be my last post at least for a day, possibly for as long as a week! I promise to journal while I'm gone so you can get the full coin-geek experience.

In the meanwhile, stay safe, have a great Fourth of July weekend and be ready to send me a summary of your adventures when I return!
