jaylake put me onto the question pondered by astronomers: How will we name all those exoplanets? My ideas: Base the names on planets named in science fiction novels, Star Trek, and classic science fiction films.

Not a fail after all

I stayed home today with my cold and my Spanky. I was about to log on just now to complain about not being productive when I realized that I really have been:

-- Brought Sophie to the vet for her spaying.
-- Got an estimate on building repairs.
-- Washed dishes.

Still need to:

-- Watch seasonally appropriate movie (yet to be determined).
-- Work on novel.
