RadCon Roadtrip: two hours and counting
Fri, Feb. 17th, 2006 06:57 amGee, between RadCon, Farpoint and Boskone, nearly three-quarters of my flist will be off conventioneering. I expect lots of great stories on my flist when I return, and I'll do my best to live up to that expectation myself.
It's very cold here this morning (29 degrees F right now), and windy as hell. It supposed to be quite the wild weekend of weather all over Washington state, with predictions of bitter cold (into the single digits in Eastern Washington where I'll be) and high winds (and if my windchimes are any indication, they're already here). Should be...exciting. I'm packing warm clothes; Pasco's not a fashion center so, beyond a certain point, these things will be more utilitarian than they are pretty, but they'll do. Jewelry and scarves will probably be my fashion statement this weekend.
ANyway, must pack. Must print out poetry for the Talebones Live reading. Must shower. Gee, I still have a lot to do. ::sigh::
Oh, and for those keeping score, Mt. St. Helens is quiet today.
Ride safe, everyone! See you on the flip side....
