Girls' day out

Tuesday was play day. A and I slept in, then went off and shopped! Much fun ensued as we tried on clothes, gawked at housewares, ate at the kind of Greek diner you just can't find much of in the Pacific Northwest, and trolled through bead stores and coin shops. It was a perfect girlie day and a great way to end the visit.

First: I'm home after a nauseatingly turbulent flight. I'll be posting brief reports dated during my trip to keep the journal, well, vaguely journal-like and chronological, rather than recapping everything in one post. Feel free to read or skip them as suits your temperament.

Second: I have icons! At last, at last, and with many thanks to A, I have icons for the journal. They will almost certainly change on occasion as mood and circumstance dictate. It's nice, however, to finally have a face for the journal. This first face is Orange Cat (occasionally known here as "Red Cat;" I can't ever settle on a pseudonym for him). Ain't he pretty? :-)
