Saturday night's all right for writing

scarlettinaWord count so far today is 2,050 and counting. Expect to be writing late into the night. I'm pleased with what's getting accomplished though, in truth, I'd hoped to have a lot more done by now.
The Boyfriend came by to fix me dinner (luscious chicken in marinara with onion/pepper potatoes and for dessert, chocolate covered cranberries--yum!) and provide a little company for a brief while. We listened to his copy of the new Sting disc while we ate; must pick it up. Boyfriend took off about 45 minutes ago to let me keep working into the night. He is indeed good to me.
It's gotten rather chilly around here. Haven't vaccuumed out the baseboard heating yet, so I'm reluctant to turn on the heat for fear of living with burned-dust smell for the next couple of days. Should have picked up some firewood yesterday on the way home. Brrr.
I should turn back to The Project now...dwarves, cave, evil overseers, badness....
