Casual house shopping

Just for fun--just for fun, mind you--I started looking at houses on Redfin about a month ago. And suddenly I find myself looking seriously at places. I haven't visited a single one and don't currently have plans to. I love my condo and the fact that outdoor upkeep is not my responsibility, but when I see a beautiful little Craftsman with two bedrooms and lots of property for gardening, I begin to get seriously tempted. This is not a problem. Not yet anyway.

I've been doing that "research" for years... Mr called it my "property pr0n". And now we're moving! XD

I think a lot of us are fantasy shopping at the moment. I definitely have been. I think I'm just sick of these particular walls or this particular table, without really wanting other stuff.

I have not been shopping, but my brain's been on to the next thing. Spending more time in this place reminds me of all the things I hate about it. On the one hand, some parts are becoming more noticeable. On the other, I'm getting off my duff and doing more of the work to make the place more livable that I never felt motivated to do before. Fork-lifting 5 of us was Herculean to begin with so I don't expect that to happen any time soon without something really tempting on the horizon. But we'll see. :-)
