Kitty picspam for a Thursday morning

scarlettinaIt's Merlin picspam, to be specific. I've mentioned that he's doing things that he's never done before (and also that he used to know he wasn't allowed to do). Well, here's photographic proof. It's become a game of "One of these things is not like the others."
A new decorative accessory. I came home several days ago to discover Merlin curled up on the table amidst the usual clutter. He's not supposed to be on the table. At least, that's the way it used to be.
A new kitchen appliance. On Tuesday, I donated a bunch of stuff to Goodwill including a wine rack that used to sit on the kitchen counter in the corner. I meticulously cleaned out the corner, preparing it for a plant or a shelf of some sort. This morning, I found that Merlin had taken up residence.
A mind of his own, that one.
