I didn't realize until I got home that I was unintentionally obscure about the primary reason for going to the doctor today. I apologize if I alarmed anyone. Here's the full scoop:
Issue #1: You know how they say you need to watch moles and growths in the skin and suchlike? Well, I had one on my back that has recently changed shape. The doctor looked at it and said that she's 99% sure it's benign. I'll be going in for a punch biopsy on Tuesday just in case. I'm sure it's nothing and she told me not to worry, so that's that.
Issue #2: About two weeks ago I did something to my right shoulder and it hasn't been right since. It's still just as painful as the day I injured it. Doctor says she's thinks that I must have torn some soft tissue. She prescribed three ibuprofen every 8 hours with food, ice pack as needed, and several sessions of physical therapy. We'll revisit after the PT. I'll be setting that up later after I get some rest.
Issue #3: The never-ending cold: Fluids, vitamin C and zinc for the immune system, tea with honey and lemon, and rest.
That's the full rundown, friends. I'm off to bed now.
