Question for the (military) braintrust
Sat, Feb. 9th, 2008 12:44 amThose of you with military background: I have questions and could use some help. I pretty sure these questions will reflect a shameful level of ignorance. I'm just trying to get this stuff right out of respect, so any help you can offer would be appreciated.
Are female officers referred to as "sir" or "ma'am"?
Anyone know what sort of vehicles are being used by American military on the ground in Iraq for transport of squads (the Army Web site mentions a "Bradley fighting vehicle," which is frustratingly nonspecific) and also for groups of no more than three people?
This is the absolute least information I can get away with needing at this point, given my deadline, so if anyone knows the answers to these questions, it would be a huge help.
Thanks.
