Work and art
Fri, Jun. 29th, 2007 02:35 pmBoth interviews went well today. I didn't sniffle too much but after I finish writing this, I'm going to go lie down for a while. I suspect I'll get called back for at least one job, but I won't count my chickens or consider anything a certainty until it actually happens. I'm done getting my hopes up about this stuff.
In the meanwhile, I got some pictures developed (what may be my last film pictures for quite some time, on which more anon). Said pictures included photos of the art I so mysteriously and nonspecifically mentioned doing a couple of weeks ago. jaylake. Unfortunately, none of the pictures do justice to the final result, but you can see it here, with notes, beneath the cut. ( See art here )
In today's last bit of news before I go get horizontal, I finally purchased my new camera, a Canon 30D with a 17-85 lens, 8.2 megapixels and sturdy as hell. I'm not going to open everything up until later today or this evening; I'm too wiped and a little lightheaded from today's activity. Good day though, so far.
