Notes for a Sunday morning
Sun, Mar. 4th, 2007 08:20 amThe New York Times has a Must Do list for the Democratic-majority Congress that is extensive and overdue.
Attended the second-to-last performance of Book-It Rep's production of "A Tale of Two Cities" yesterday afternoon with
oldmangrumpus and really enjoyed the production. Book-It never disappoints.
Writing has gone slowly this week. Want to get in a good chunk today, but must also spend some time working on my scene for acting class; I have two full pages of dialogue to learn before tomorrow night. Been reading quite a bit this week. Hope to deliver a couple of new reviews to
tbclone47 for the Talebones site soon.
puppetmaker40 notes that March is National Crafts Month. Who knew? She has laid out a schedule of crafting for herself in honor of the month. I don't know if I can be that ambitious (or if I want to be right now), but it's got me thinking that I have a couple of projects I'd like to do, and at least one older craft project of mine that is completed but needs some simple repair. Apparently craft shops and chains all over the country are running sales associated with the event, so if you are of a crafty bent, now's the time to stock up. Is it time for another crafternoon, perhaps?
For those who are interested, it looks like the Michael Praed Robin of Sherwood is finally being released in America as of March 13 in some of the ugliest packaging I've ever seen. Get it for the program and try to ignore the nasty green, black and white design. I wish everyone could have the complete-series boxed set that I have.
