Fourth of July Woe
Mon, Jul. 3rd, 2006 07:55 pmMy foot hurts. And tomorrow's the Fourth of July.
My preferred mode for Fourth of July is to walk down to Lake Union around 6 PM, take some picnicky things, maybe meet some friends, play some games and socialize until sunset when the fireworks blow. It's one of the best places in Seattle to watch fireworks, but I'm not up to the walk. I've been in denial about it for a week now, but after yesterday and today I have to admit it: walking distances just isn't happening right now and may in fact exacerbate my condition.
So right now, with the exception of a friend taking me to grocery shop, I have no plans for the Fourth of July.
This sucks. ::pout::
Anyone have any plans that don't require me to be especially ambulatory that I can maybe join?
