A thought on writing
Mon, Sep. 27th, 2004 11:04 pmSpent most of this evening redrafting a story I wrote earlier this summer. Am saving the rewrite of the ending for tomorrow because I'm heartily sick of looking at it tonight and feeling as though it's been done to death by others. But the experience put me in mind of a quote appended at the end of an e-mail I recently received from
brainstormfront:
"You must learn to overcome your very natural and appropriate revulsion for your own work."
William Gibson
Yeah, I guess so.
And yeah, this is what I've been pining over for the last month. Why do you ask? ::wry grin::
