Dream Journal: Will Truman and I in "Angels in America"
Thu, Dec. 4th, 2003 08:59 amThis was one of those mornings that White Cat chose to wake me in the midst of a dream I was really groovin' on. He's a sadist, that cat.
I dreamed I was in rehearsal for a production of "Angels in America," (which demonstrates that I've been watching a little too much cable lately). I knew all my lines without even looking at the script. In fact, when I actually looked at the script (a pamphlet printed on blue paper), the lines flew out of my head. I also dreamed that the actor I was playing opposite was Will Truman (of "Will & Grace"). No, not Eric McCormick who plays Will, but Will, the character, himself, though why a lawyer would be rehearsing for a play was never clear (chalk it up to dream logic). In the dream, we were dear friends and somehow, for some reason, the play was making a huge impact on us and our friendship. We were in a small studio, standing in a queue, rehearsing our lines with each other.
That was it. That was the whole dream. There was just something about it that felt very right, very positive, warm and fuzzy. *sigh* (Of course, I should also mention that this dream probably arose from the fact that I've been thinking very hard about starting to take acting classes again....)
