Re: the lodgings issue: Finally got a response from one of the places yesterday. I'm going to wait one more day to see if any of the other places I queried answer me, and then I'll be making a commitment. Once that's done, I hope to be able to make plans for meals and so on. Some of my schedule is already spoken for by the evening events drawing me to town, but there are possibilities for lunches and dinners once those obligations are nailed down. I will be in touch.
