Jewish-themed smashed pennies
DO, whom I met at the ANA show, asked me if I'd post pictures of my collection of Jewish-themed elongated coins. They're relatively hard to find and I always snatch them up when I find them. Anyway, no point in only one person seeing them, so I thought I'd post a link to the photo-set so that anyone interested might get to see them, too.

Further, I joined the penny-collector website, and discovered that a local restaurant I've been curious about has a penny press! So I'm, uh, considering dragging the spouse over there... partly for pancakes, but mostly for pennies.

I'd be willing to send you the 2 pennies for your collection if you don't have them. The quarter is one I bought on ebay a few years ago and I'm not willing to part with that. The scan didn't turn out very well because I didn't want to take it out of the holder. The picture is Nebuchanezzar with a crown on his head riding on the back of a lion. One side has Nebuchanezzar spelled out in regular letters and the other side has what I assume are Hebrew letters (if they're not I'd be interested in knowing what they are).
