Darn that varkat!

varkat has posted a picture of her naked feet crossed, relaxing by some lovely blue lake, and now I feel a need to go show my naked feet in public. I think it's time I put on something floaty and comfortable, and headed out to Golden Gardens where the beach is good enough for government work. It's a sunny day in Seattle, and I need to take a moment to enjoy my liberation. All the key e-mails have been addressed (though I know I owe skidspoppe e-mail -- it's coming!); all the trip plans are pretty much in place (though I do need to solve the luggage question and the Saturday night question, but there's still time for that); and I have no obligations to anything or anyone until around dinner time. I ought to go get some sunshine.
