One scientist looks at time travel...seriously

Picked this up off of a Doctor Who community, about a physicist who's working toward bending light to travel through time. We've met the Time Lords and they are us?

John Cramer is one of the brightest lights in physics and science fiction, i consider it an honor that hes a local guy too.

Now all we need is his experiment to succeed in proving something and have Seattle become a time travel capitol of the world.

( Or of course the terminators start popping up to take over )

Seattle as time travel capitol of the world: I like that idea. :-) We'll just have to make sure that Dr. Cramer gets all the funding he needs (which has been an ongoing concern for his project).

Make sure he checks in at the Time Traveler's Convention (http://web.mit.edu/adorai/timetraveler/).

I suspect he's been there already. :-)

"This American Life" did a wonderful piece on Ronald Mallett not too long ago. You can probably still stream it off their Web site or buy the download from Audible.com--well worth it if you're at all interested.

Ooh! I'm a big fan of TAL, and I can't believe I missed this! I'll go have a look. Thanks for the tip!
