How not to start a Tuesday

-- Hearing a cat getting sick and not being able to find the results.
-- Realizing that you may have sold your collection of Sandman to the used bookstore in a fit of overzealous bookshelf cleaning. (Just . . . kill me now please.)
-- Realizing that you left a window open overnight and now your house is full of the smell of the downstairs neighbor's cigarettes (which is freaking killing me).

Here's hoping the day will improve.

Are these the comic book Sandman or the trade collections? Is it possible the bookstore would be understanding if you went to them and said you made a mistake?

The trade collection. The first three were in a boxed set. One of them was a special edition. I don't know what I was thinking.

If it's any consolation, the second volume of Ultimate Sandman is coming out soon, and the first one was loverly. Of course, I'm having trouble at the prospect of unloading my earlier editions, too.

This morning I had to choose between walking behind a smoker and walking past one of those poor schmucks handing out the (bad) free paper. The smoker won.

#2 -

Do you have any inexplicable lapses in memory that may be accounted for by some demon possessing you in order to sell things *you* wouldn't choose to sell?

(There are three books I know I owned once and cannot find, and I've been through all the bookshelves multiple times, and there aren't boxes of unopened books, and I can't imagine I would have sold them. . .)

I was possessed by the idea that it was time to let go of certain things from a certain period of my life. But I overdid it. Clearly. ::sigh::

Eeek!

I hope it does.

Hope the day is better by now!

(Perhaps the cat puked over the balcony *onto* the downstairs neighbor smoking?)

I wish. I did find the cat product and cleaned the carpet. Ech.

Haven't found the Sandman books.

Aired the house out, but I figure it's going to start all over again tonight. ::sigh::

I'm assuming you've checked the bags of books to go already, yes?
