I've watched the first two episodes of Demons, and I have the same problem with it that I had with Primeval, which is that it seems to have the logic level of Scooby Doo.
Plus Demons seems like Bizarro Buffy, with an American Watcher and a male and British Buffy... er, "Buff," I guess.
But it's somewhat interesting anyway. May watch a couple more when I don't feel like using my brain.
