If they name planets the way that biochemists name proteins and genes, they'll be whimsical: Like GunfA (gene of unknown function A).
I imagine names like BBP (Big, blue planet): pronounced 'Bebop.'
Or Frk (first known in brand new solar system: pronounced 'Frank Burns.'
