I found some beautiful chain (which I don't see your Etsy friend using) at Fusion Beads on Stone Way that has gear-like elements in it. And your friend's work has inspired me to do some wire work, which up until now I hadn't been including. It may actually present the solution to come problems I've been coming up against. Yay!
